- Bachelor´s degree or equivalent experience required, Candidates with Master´s in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, will be more relevant
- At least 10 years experience in a software development or operations role
- A tireless passion for learning and improvement
- Experience building, operating, and maintaining customer-facing infrastructure and services
- Proven track record of working in and with cross-functional distributed teams, including working across multiple time zones and providing remote support
- Strong interpersonal skills and proven record of ability to work independently as well as in a team
- Effective communicator
- Excellent communication skills in written and verbal English
- Extensive experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) platforms, preferably Jenkins
- Experience with administering Linux-based operating systems
- Experience with containers and preferably also Kubernetes
- Experience with one or more programming and scripting languages, such as Python, Java, Go, C/C++, Perl, Ruby, JavaScript and Bash
- Proven track record of using configuration management tools, such as Ansible and Terraform, to maintain an evolving infrastructure
- Exposure to CI practices such as static code analysis, code coverage analysis, automated unit testing, vulnerability scanning, integration testing, etc.
- Experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform
- Exposure to Prometheus, ELK stack, and Grafana
- Experience with artifact repository software, preferably JFrog Artifactory
- Experience with Git
- Exposure to Gerrit or GitLab
- Exposure to OpenStack or VMware
- Familiarity with Test-Driven Development
