Senior DevOps Engineer, NSW
- Bachelor´s degree or equivalent experience required, Candidates with Master´s in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, will be more relevant
- At least 10 years experience in a software development or operations role
- Knowledge of multiple programming and scripting languages, such as Java, C/C++, Go, Perl, Python, Ruby, JavaScript and Bash
- Experience in Test-Driven Development
- Experience in administering Linux-based systems
- Experience with configuration management tools, preferably both Terraform and Ansible
- Experience with AWS, Google Cloud Platform or Microsoft Azure
- Experience with Kubernetes
- Experience with Prometheus, Elasticsearch and Grafana is a plus
- Extensive experience with Git
- Extensive experience in source code branching strategies to support multiple related development projects
- Experience in administering and migrating source control systems such as Git, GitLab, Gerrit, SVN or ClearCase
- Experience in building robust, sustainable and reusable automation frameworks
- Extensive experience with Continuous Integration (CI) tools, preferably Jenkins
- Experience with tools for implementing CI best practices like static code analysis, code coverage analyzers, automated unit tests and integration tests, etc.
- Experience to OpenStack and VMware is a plus
- Experience with JFrog Artifactory is a plus
- Experience with issue tracking systems, preferably Jira
- Experience with Confluence is a plus
- Extensive experience with Agile methodologies, such as Kanban and Scrum
- Excellent communication skills in written and verbal English
- Effective communicator
- Proven record of working in and with cross-functional distributed teams, including working across multiple time zones and providing remote support
- Strong interpersonal skills and proven record of performance and ability to work independently as well as in a team
