We are Nokia Bell Labs & CTO spectrum standardization team in charge of defining and driving Nokia’s positions in national and global spectrum regulatory and standardization bodies, working with various stakeholders inside and outside of Nokia. We are looking for an experienced radio communications professional who will:

•Conduct engineering analyses and provide technical recommendations on policies and standards related to spectrum management, especially for 5G.


•Be Nokia’s main interface on spectrum related matters with French regulators “Agence Nationale des Fréquences (ANFR)” or “Autorité de Régulation des Communications Electroniques et des Postes (ARCEP)” and at the global level with the European Conference of Postal and Telecommunications Administrations (CEPT) and ITU (International Telecommunication Union).

•Be Nokia’s main interface on spectrum related matters with French regulators “Agence Nationale des Fréquences (ANFR)” or “Autorité de Régulation des Communications Electroniques et des Postes (ARCEP)” and at the global level with the European Conference of Postal and Telecommunications Administrations (CEPT) and ITU (International Telecommunication Union). 
 

•Lead Nokia’s UHF Multimedia & Entertainment activities, representing Nokia in external organisations like European Broadcasting Union and influencing global standardization activities related to broadcast distribution.

We are looking for a candidate with the following:

•       Master's degree or PhD in telecommunication or equivalent.

•       You have 5 or more years of experience with LTE/LTE-Advanced technology and a good understanding of 5G.

•       Knowledge of electromagnetic wave propagation, telecommunications. systems and digital communications.

•       Fluent in French and English (both oral and written).

•       Excellent communication skills.

•       Can work with minimal supervision.

•       Experience in CEPT or ITU is an asset.
