Senior Technical Specialist

Qualifications

Technical background and experience:

·        BE/BTech in Computer Science/Other Engineering with relevant experience . 

·      Minimum  5 years experience with Java programming, Java Script, XML, XSD and HTML . 

·        Minimum 3 years experience with the following technologies: JEE (Apache Tomcat/Jetty/Hibernate/Spring), JDBC, ,JMX, Servlets, JMS/ActiveMQ, SOAP, Webservices, and Maven.Thrift experience is an added advantage.

·        Minimum 2 years of experience using Hibernate and Spring/Wicket Framework .

·        Experience with MySQL (database) /MariaDB .        

·        Hands on experience writingl, Python scripts is desired 

·        Hands on experience with Sun Solaris 10 and Red Hat Linux platforms is desired . 

·     Experience with, and being open to Agile development .

·Strong working knowledge in profiling Java applications using thread, memory, network and performance analyzer tools is a plus .

• Knowledge of MVN and/or GIT is a plus.

·        Strong working knowledge of FTP/SFTP/TFTP, SNMP protocols is desired.

·        Strong working knowledge in profiling Java applications using thread, memory, network and performance analyzer tools is a plus

-      Experience in Hadoop framework, large scale data processing (eg. Spark), messaging service (eg. Kafka), report templating (eg. Jasper)

-     Experience in NoSQL databases (eg. HBase, HIVE)

-      Experience in automatic deployment (Puppet, Ansible, …) and DevOps practices

Non-technical skills:
