- Must be BE/BTech/MTech in Computer Science/Electronics/Electrical/Information Science/Telecom
- A strong individual contributor with 10+ years of experience in system engineering preferably in Optics or networking domain.
- Good conceptual knowledge and preferably hands-on experience in Layer 0 (Optical)/Layer 1(Electrical) /Layer 2 (Ethernet) networking and Management of such networks
- Have worked on writing requirement in telecom domain (preferably in Network Management System) which are input to software development team.
- Knowledge of the transmission protocols – Layer 0, Layer 1, Layer 2
- Strong knowledge in Telecommunications Management Network (TMN) architecture.
- Knowledge on SNMP/TL1 and NetConf/RestConf/Yang models is preferred.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Have understanding and usage of UML diagrams.
- Good interpersonal skills and capability to work in global multi-site environment
- Have a desire and ability to learn in a fast paced and innovative environment
