Site Design Specialist creates, visualises and amends customer project telecom implementation model site solutions. Site Design Specialist is mainly assigned to customer projects, but is working on both Pre-Sales and Delivery Phases as a subject matter expert on site structural design, construction and related material planning.

 

Site design work - As assigned to Project Deployment

Enables Site Design according to Customer’s, Nokia standards & guidelines and local regulations. Ensures Site Design activities meet project and local requirements. Responsible for all technical aspects regarding Permit Drawings, Construction Drawings, Static Calculations, Foundation Calculations / Studies, Soil Reports, Land Surveys, all drawing approval procedures. Further more for all design related acceptances. Cooperation with all departments. Localizes global design guidelines according to country specific rules and regulations.
 

Customer interface - As assigned to Pre-Sales or to Project Deployment

Ensures that model sites including product specifications and agreed details are approved by the customer. Participates in customer meetings as required. Interfaces with customer site design manager to review and discuss the design process and to resolve open issues.
 
Service supplier interface - As assigned to Pre-Sales or to Project Deployment
Provides guidance and support to service suppliers in site design related issues. Communicates customer approved site solutions to service suppliers. Reviews and approves the CW designs done by service suppliers.
 
Cooperation with other functions - As assigned to Pre-Sales or to Project Deployment
Cooperates with network planning, site acquisition, construction works and telecom implementation project personnel  for all design related issues, also to create cost efficient site solutions. Supports procurement with Site Design service supplier selection.
 

Mandatory Skills:

- Fluent with AutoCAD 2D and 3D Modeling

- Telecom Tower and Rooftop Site Equipment and Antenna Structure Design experience

- Structural Design and Asia Country local and International Standards knowledge

- Structural Analysis and Loading Calculations experience

- Telecom Site Electrical Design and back-up power solutioning experience

- Ability and experience on creation of Telecom Site Equipment and Antenna Structure BoM according to Design.

- Ability and experience on communication and negotiating with Construction/Design service suppliers on Design/BoM/Rates
