Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations
Small Cell Radio Frequency Hardware R&D Engineering Intern will;
- Design, build, optimize and test electronic circuits from baseband through 6 GHz. Specific focus on LTE bands.
- Identify design issues and propose solutions.
- Test and evaluate individual circuits as well as overall systems.
- Specify and evaluate new components to assure proper performance.
- Adhere to Nokia engineering processes, including the maintenance of accurate documentation
- Work in a global engineering team environment soliciting and sharing expertise with other Nokia engineers as necessary.
- Generate and maintain specifications.
- Guide vendors in custom device/product development.
- Support product integration and applications.

Experience in any of the following areas is a plus;
- work experience in RF hardware circuit design development, implementation and/or validation testing.
Experience in circuit design/layout/&test
Experience in the use of simulation tools
Experience in the use of test equipment
Experience in the analysis and presentation of test data
Experience with Design for Six Sigma, and Design for Manufacturability
Familiarity with ADS, Mentor, LabView, Python, & Microsoft office applications
