Small Cells Hardware Coop - Mechanical
Small Cell Hardware R&D Engineers will;
- Design, build, optimize and test electronic enclosures for digital and RF circuits
- Identify design issues and propose solutions.
- Test and evaluate individual designs as well as overall systems.
- Specify and evaluate new components to assure proper performance.
- Adhere to Nokia engineering processes, including the maintenance of accurate documentation
- Work in a global engineering team environment soliciting and sharing expertise with other Nokia engineers as necessary.
- Generate and maintain specifications.
- Guide vendors in custom device/product development.
- Support product integration and applications.
- Must be able to travel internationally to support prototype manufacturing or customer deployment
- work experience in Mechanical development, implementation and/or validation testing.
Experience in the use of simulation tools
Experience in the use of test equipment
Experience in the analysis and presentation of test data
Experience with Design for Six Sigma, and Design for Manufacturability
Familiarity with ProE or other solid modeling tools, LabView, Python, & Microsoft office applications
