Software Test Specialist (Network Services Platform)
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Software, Computer or Electrical Engineering, in Computer Science, or equivalent experience;
- Knowledge of network management concepts and basic protocols (e.g. Openflow, NETCONF, SNMP);
- Knowledge of object-oriented software development concepts;
- Strong interpersonal and communication (both written and verbal) skills;
- Ability to successfully work in a team-oriented environment;
- Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and to work in a fast paced, innovative environment.
ADDITIONAL ASSETS
- Knowledge of IP/MPLS networking, familiarity with networking concepts, protocols (e.g. OSPF, BGP, DHCP, AAA) and
deployments (e.g. IP VPN, VPLS);
- Knowledge of Web based technologies and JavaScript/Node.js;
- Knowledge of virtualization, Openstack, NVF and related technologies;
- Prior and demonstrated experience in a Product Verification, Software Development, or IP/LTE/Optical Networking roles;
- Knowledge/experience in the Evolved Packet Core of an LTE network deployment;
- Familiarity/proficiency with RHEL;
- Ability to produce high quality test strategies, test plans, and test cases;
- Scripting languages (ie. PERL, Javascript);
