Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
- 7+ years experience in Software Development
- Solid understanding and experience with various software development methodologies
- Minimum 5 years experience in managing software development teams and complex software development/deployment projects
- 5+ years experience with Java and web development
- 5+ experience with scripting languages including Python, Perl, JavaScript
- Experience with IP and Optical networking technology
- Knowledge of virtualization, Openstack, NFV and cloud-based technologies
- Experience working on OSS/BSS implementation projects
- Proven track record of delivering quality solutions on time & budget
- Strong customer orientation - willingness to do what it takes to meet customer needs
- 5+ years working directly with customers (remotely and on site)
- Excellent negotiation, communication, customer interfacing
- Strong leadership and management skills required
- Proven experience working with global teams and customers
- Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills
- Understands and utilizes risk management techniques
- Ability to work in a dynamic fast paced environment
- Knowledge of network management concepts and basic protocols (e.g. Openflow, Netconf and SNMP)
- Strong interpersonal and communication (both written and verbal) skills are required
- The candidate must be able to successfully work in a team-oriented environment
- Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and to work in a fast paced, innovative environment
