Key Responsibilities (When assigned to a customer team or customer project):

  • Work as an End-to-End Architect handling end to end solution requirements, solution design (High Level Design/Low Level Design), system implementation, validation and acceptance.

  • Co-ordinate and work closely with Domain Architects working on different parts of solution (IP, EPC, Radio, SDM) and other internal stakeholders.

  • Co-ordinate and manage deliverables from architects and engineers.

  • Act as a trusted advisor and support PM, TPM in customer meetings and handling technical queries. 

  • Create and own the integration design with Nokia systems and third-party systems for realization of desired requirements.

  • Participate in customer meetings, discusses the solution to customer, handles customer queries, gathers customer requirements and maps it to the overall solution.

  • Should able to identify, manage the risks in the design/delivery of the solution and assures customer satisfaction.

  • Able to propose customization should there be any gap in the agreed solution.

  • Responds to escalations and any exceptions arises during Solution development, delivery to go-live support in a professional manner.

Key Responsibilities (when assigned to Nokia BU):

  • Ensure alignment between Solution architecture with Technology & Architecture Guidelines

  • Ensure alignment between Solution architecture with Technology & Architecture Guidelines

  • Support the development of the Solution Milestone maturity progression through the solution life cycle.

  • Solution roadmap management to ensure alignment between Solution and Products

  • Agree solution case specific support with Product Customization

  • Provide feature / productization proposals to Product Management for increased productization

  • Test and verify solution architecture with lead customers

  • Keep solution architectures, solution technical descriptions and integration guidelines up-to-date

  • Contribute to the Competence Transfer 

  • Sales support for solution cases including F2F interaction with CT and customer

  • Select 3rd party products in solution blueprint for generic solution

  • Review & track 3rd party products use in customer solutions

  • Minimum 6 years of Solution Architect experience in Telco background.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, or other relevant field

  • Good knowledge on 4G/LTE and SDM.

  • Specific knowledge on SDM (HSS, SDL, One-NDS), EPC (SGW, PGW, MME) and Public Safety solutions.

  • Experienced in delivering 4G/LTE projects.

  • Good knowledge of Open Stack Cloud platform and onboarding of VNFs.

  • Experience in NOKIA Cloud Band implementation, CBIS and CBAM is a plus.

  • Good understanding of ETSI NFV architecture in telco environment (vEPC)

  • Good background on the System Integration, protocols,3GPP specifications/RFCs and troubleshooting tools.

  • Good knowledge on IP ,networking (switching and routing, understanding of VLAN, security)

  • Candidate and Candidate’s family must be a Singapore national
