Job Description

Looking for skilled candidates to come in and contribute immediately to a very aggressive Nokia Solution Validation (NSVT) Program which includes end-to-end solution testing and providing SME-level support for the development of service team deliverables.  The candidates should have a high level of technical skills across several areas which include Cloud/OpenStack, VNF and CNF onboarding, Volte/IMS testing and operations, applications and core flows, end-to-end testing, tools and automation frameworks.

Job Responsibilities & Competencies

Key Responsibilities:
• Platform integration and network integration of complex end-to-end IMS USP solution on Nokia Cloud.
• Installation, configuration, and integration of Nokia components in the end-to-end solution.
• Test Plan development, Test Plan execution, with Test script integration (and development), Test script execution, and Test Results documentation.
• Validate, identify and report issues related to the solution architecture, the solution and element features, the product(s) stability, gold standard parameters for integration, migration tools, mirroring, other aspects related to a quality deliverable for the customer.
• Provide thorough technical analysis of issues found during the testing, including opening and follow through to closure with Product units (internal) , 3rd Party/4th Party vendors, and services teams.
• Act as SME and provide support to other Service teams utilizing the NSVT lab environment.

As the job position requires End-to-End solution Integration and test expertise, the candidate must possess in-depth and comprehensive knowledge in several of the following technologies:
  • Minimum of 5+ years technical experience (desirable                                                                                                                  • Experience in leading highly technical teams and managing timelines and customer deliverables (desirable)
  • Hands-on LINUX knowledge and scripting experience
  • Good understanding of Nokia’s CloudBand Platform and/or OpenStack   Platform for Cloud Computing is a must.
  • Experience deploying VNF or CNFs on CBIS/NCS with CBAM and CBND
  • Service and network orchestration experience a plus
  • Understanding of VNF Heat templates and CNF NSD Workflows, Helm Charts and value files. (Highly desirable)
  • Good understanding of Nokia’s virtual VoLTE IMS offerings, specific element and e2e call flow knowledge across IMS elements and applications
  • Willingness and an ability to learn new products, including 3rd party products,
  • Layer2/Layer3 Data Networking (highly desirable),
  • IPv4 and IPv6 experience and knowledge required.
  • IMS-based networks 
  • Detailed understanding and knowledge of SIP, H.248, IMS interfaces,
  • Wireless 3G/4G/5G networks (desirable)
  • Good communication skills

Specific additional information:
  • Bachelor / Master’s in Computer or Electrical Engineering
  • Language skills: English
  • Need full NAM hours as will be working with a US-based test team, accessing a US-NJ lab and supporting other US Services teams using the lab lineups.
  • Need NSA clearance
