Solution Specialist: - JG8 (At least 8+ years of experience)

General Purpose:-

Provides solution level delivery in customer project; ability to understand customer's technical needs and ability to deliver on ground. Executes complex integration, operations or performance solutions for customers & Shares professional knowledge to guide others.

Main Responsibility Area:-

•            Provides solution service delivery, having expertise in CoS Portfolio {IMS, CFX, NTAS, SBC and other IMS Nodes } ; acts as a source of expertise for colleagues

•            Ensure operational excellence in design and implementation in system integration projects

•            Able to work and produce targeted results with minimal supervision

•            Ensure smooth field deployment and system integration

Position Description:-

  • Relevant experience in Project delivery & testing covering the following roles in turnkey system integration projects.
  • Installation & Integration of IMS nodes including P/S/I-CSCF, Application Servers, servers specific to applications like Presence server, IM server etc.
  • Configuration & Implementation of the IMS Protocol Interfaces – Gm Interface, ISC interface, Ro/Rf Interface, Sh Interface SIP, SOAP/XML, Diameter etc
  • Installation & Integration of VoIP nodes including Media Gateways, Signaling Gateways, MRF protocols including SIP, MEGACO, MGCP
  • Handling EPC network including configuration & implementation of the EPC interfaces over LTE signaling protocols (s1ap, GTP-C/U, Diameter)
  • Handling Policy Control Architecture including policy use case implementation to control different Interfaces like Gx, Gy and Rx.
  • Handling Core IP Network Architecture – Including Routers, Radius Servers and various protocols like IGMP, ICMP, EIGRP, Deep Packet Inspection etc.
  • Installation & Integration over the HP,ATCA, Solaris hardware, Unix and Load balancers platforms
  • Scoping & estimation of upcoming opportunities in presales phase
  • Dimensioning, Capacity, Hardware sizing
  • Open for travel.

Skills:

  • Good Knowledge of GSM/UMTS/LTE Networks and Call flows
  • Solution design & Implementation of CoS Core Network Elements including CFX, TAS, SBC, NN etc.
  • IMS Solution Integration.
  • Subscriber Data base migration of HLR, HSS, EIR & MNP.
  • Experience of installing HP hardware - inserting in racks, power and network cabling within the rack
  • Experience of installing IMS Node and related Software on commissioned hardware
  • Experience in Cloud + Virtualization and VNF Deployments
  • Good experience in Unix/Linux commands
  • Good experience in Router and Switch configuration
  • Good understanding of CoS Call Flows
  • Basic knowledge of HP product details
  • Basic Knowledge of firmware.
  • Basic scripting language expertise (Shell script, PERL, Python, Ansible) would be added advantage.

Position Requirements: -

  • Ability to discuss with customer for requirements gathering
  • Ability to understand Solution Design Creation.
  • Solution Deployment support.
  • Ability to troubleshoot call flow related issues and fixing the same.
  • Ability to understand the new solutions quickly and delivering the same to Customer.
    Strong understanding of Mobile Network (2G, 3G, 4G & 5G).
  • Advanced level on Operating System such as Linux or Solaris.
  • Experience on networking troubleshooting using tools such as Wireshark.
  • Experience on virtualization - VMWare or Open stack
    Ability to work with technical layers at customer.
  • Ability to work on Automation initiatives.
  • Ability to play a role of Individual contributor as well as team player based on the project requirements.
    Travel availability: 50% of the time on domestic or international travels.
  • Good Communication Skills.
