Main Purpose of the service:

Network Alarm monitoring with the use of Network Management Systems in a 24x7 shifts coverage.  Monitoring Engineer to perform Alarm Monitoring under Fault Management operation process ensuring trouble tickets are actively managed until resolution to SLA & OLA requirements.

Main Responsibility Areas:

a.      24X7 Network Surveillance

b.      Alarm Monitoring

c.       Alarm Correlation &Suppression

d.      Basic Recovery Action (1st level FM)

e.      Trouble Ticket Assignment & Escalation to FLM or Fault management team

f.       Track & Manage Problem & Trouble Report

 

Other tasks:

a.      First level Corrective Maintenance (centralized routines)

b.      Liaises with subcontractors and 3rd parties to resolve faults

c.       Liaises with other service providers regarding network outages

d.      End-end support, coordination and control of assigned Trouble Tickets

e.      Ensures planned outages are carried out/rolled back in maintenance window

f.       Ensures Operator Customer Care is fully updated for service affecting outages

g.      Work Order Control (possible execution too) outside normal working hours

 

Key Competencies:

a.      Fault Management

b.      Technology skills: Experience in Nokia FTTX Network Element.

c.       Knowledge on Telecom network blocks and IP techno.

d.      Communication

e.      Welling to learn new technologies.

Key Interfaces:

f.       Field Maintenance teams

g.      Fault management team

h.      Technical Support (tier 2 and 3)

i.         Configuration and Performance Management

 

Deliverables:

a.      Contractor shall put in place all resources required to meet or exceed required SLA.

b.      In case the contractor fails to meet agreed SLA , then contractor shall pay the respective penalties.

c.       Surviliance routing reporting and adhoc reports.

d.      Contractor should comply to all company security policies.

e.      Access and planned maintenance tracking

f.       Daily/Weekly/Monthly reprting as per Nokia requirments.

g.      Any further required tasks within the shift time limit utilization.

h.      Assure network knwoledge and updated with any new network changes.
