We are looking for tech-savvy and brave people to our Oulu R&D site. You have a tremendous opportunity to put your theoretical knowledge to practice in our research and development projects. Oulu is one of our key R&D sites in Finland. Oulu is a home for major new innovations of Nokia Networks, for example brand new 5G Proof-of-Concept products.
 
Having spent some years studying in a university, polytechnic or an equivalent institution, you already have a solid understanding of the basics on SW development or telecommunication. Still, you are always eager to learn more and interested in doing a variety of different kinds of tasks as part of your job. You are ready to share your knowledge and skills among the people you work with. You are a team worker but also efficient on independent tasks, and your English language skills allow you communicate efficiently in our multicultural environment.
 
For software related tasks, it will be beneficial if you master C/C++, Python, Linux and version control systems or if you have knowledge of software testing, test methodologies, test environments and tools. The essential elements of the work are agile-based working mode and test-driven software development.
