Required skills:

  • Administration/Installation & commissioning/Upgrade/Integration/Troubleshooting experience in any of the products below
  • NSN NetAct/ NetAct Service Quality Manager/NetAct Advanced Monitor/Self organizing Network server (ison)/ Serve atOnce Traffica/ Serve@Once Intelligence/Serve@Once Device Manager/Nokia Performance Manager and Linux/Solaris/Oracle/
  • VMware / Virtualization / Cloud Computing / Docker and Orchestration in Kubernets
  • Remote case handling and software change management for the Global customers is added advantage.
  • Ensure interworking of OSS to other network Element is OK (eg.  PS element, CS element, RAN, BSS, Messaging Box) and all functions are working well (alarm sync, PM data sync, configuration Management etc.)
  • Troubleshoot system management, fault management, configuration management and performance management issues. Executing system health check & preventive maintenance task on different EMS/NMS
  • Ensure compliance with any audit requirements from OSS perspective from time to time
  • Experience in multivendor OSS with good system, OS & DB skills .
  • Troubleshooting integration problems of Network elements in 2G, 3G, 4G technologies.
  • Cooperate with the team to resolve complex matters
  • Investigate and provide RCA for any major outages
  • Emergency ticket handling. Shift operations and 24x7 On-call support.
  • System Administration of Linux/VMware environment/Hadoop/Cloud.
  • Experience in OS like Linux, Windows
  • Shell scripting + SQL scripting + some windows based programming will be an added advantage.
  • Basic knowledge of IP/Routers/Switches etc
  • Experience in RDBMS like Oracle, Sybase etc
  • Basic understanding of Telecom Network
  • Basic understanding of IP Network
  • Experience with trouble ticket tools and process
  • Bachelor's in Engineering/BCA/MCA with 4-8 Yrs of experience/ Diploma with 5-9 yrs exp in System Administration operation (Troubleshooting, Configuration, Lab testing etc.)
  • Availability for travel & Flexible to work in global time zones if business demands
  • Good logical and analytical understanding Team player with good interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrate adaptability & learning ability in new technological area
  • Willingness to learn, share knowledge and transfer competence.
  • Process orientation. Good verbal and written communication
  • Strong problem solving ability
  • Good organizational skills
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism
  • Service and Customer oriented, ability to work under pressure
