The team you'll be part of

Our Business Group is a leader in wireless mobility networks and associated services. With more than 3.500 patent families essential for 5G we have a strong 5G portfolio and are a front runner in open and virtualized radio access networks (O-RAN and vRAN).You would be part of R&D in the RAN Network Management (RAN NM) organization, which is part of the MN RAN Business Unit. RAN NM is responsible for a suite of products for managing, optimizing, and troubleshooting of the Radio and Core telecom networks. The NM portfolio is moving towards next generation products based on the latest technologies aligned with the need of our customers.

 

What you will learn and contribute to

You would be Accountable to create right tools and techniques that helps developer build in quality. You would be driving and supporting the team with refactoring and code transformation initiatives.

As part of our team, you will:

  • “Walk the talk” – Lead by example - Designing end to end system by promoting the right engineering practices and tools within the team (and across teams/sites)
  • Mentoring and coaching development teams on engineering practices and non-technical skills
  • Understanding and deploying the NMS product, OEMs and configuration.

 

Skills and Experience:

   Primary:

  • Minimum 12+ years of experience. 
  • Knowledge in IP Networking
  • Knowledge on virtualization (VmWare / openStack)
  • Knowldge about OEM installations and configuration
  • Configuration and administration of Oracle and other Databases.
  • Deployment and Configuration of Web Application servers like JBOSS
  • Experience in working with System Administration of Linux environment
  • Scripting kinowledge - Python / Perl / Shell scripting
  • Excellent Analytical and debugging skills

 

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Experience in working on the Network Management domain
  • Experience and understanding of DevOps practices and tools
  • Exposure to the NMS products like NetAct, NSP / SAM etc.
