Job Description
Nokia Software (NSW) is looking for a System Test Engineer for the Nokia Policy Controller.
- Development of automated tests.
- Feature testing with a focus on automation.
- End-to-end product integration testing.
- Characterize and document product defects.
- Participate in requirements analysis, feature breakdown and estimates.
- Contribute to overall product improvement through strategic testing around robustness and stability.
Required Minimum Qualifications: (Education, Technical Skills/Knowledge)
- Bachelor´s degree or equivalent experience required - candidates with Master´s degree in Computer Science, Electrical, Computer or Software Engineering will be more relevant.
- At least 5 years of experience in Software Development or QA
- Experience in working on Unix/Linux Operating Systems
- Experience working with test automation frameworks like Robot
- Experience working with test tools and traffic generators
- Familiar with working in an Agile (scrum) software development team
- Exposure in using VIMs like OpenStack and its Heat Orchestration Templates
- Exposure in using VNFM like Nokia CloudBand Application Manager (CBAM)
- Database knowledge: Operational experience in using Non-SQL Dbs like Aerospike
- Exposure to container-orchestration systems like Kubernetes
- Experience working in the Policy domain is considered an asset
- Experience working in Java development is considered an asset
- Highly developed analytical and debugging skills with proven ability to perform in a fast-paced environment and under time constraints while keeping attention to details.
- Ability to multi-task and work on multiple issues, with quickly changing priorities
- Good understanding of software development lifecycles based on AGILE mode of working.
- Excellent English communication skills both verbal and written.
