The team you’ll be part of

Our Business Group is a leader in wireless mobility networks and associated services. With more than 3.500 patent families essential for 5G we have a strong 5G portfolio and are a front runner in open and virtualized radio access networks (O-RAN and vRAN).

MN RAN
You will join the RAN Business Unit and will enjoy our culture of innovation, openness, discipline, simplicity, accountability, and profit mindset.
Your future teams are developing Nokia 3GPP mainstream radio technology products and solutions including cross-technology responsibility (Multi Radio Access Technology).
Your unit’s main priorities are flawless execution of System programs including Network Management & Optimization and attached services.

 

What you will learn and contribute to

She/he will be member of 5G/4G software development or continuous integration team with focus to do the thesis work. The essential elements of the work are agile-based working mode, test-driven software development and C++ or Python SW development.

 

Your skills and experience

 Requirements for student are knowledge and experience in:

- C++, object oriented programming, and/or

- Python, test methodology, test automation,

- some embedded SW knowledge,

- basic knowledge of mobile communications, 5G, 4G.

 University Bachelor degree in Computer Sciences, Electrical Engineering or equivalent looking for diploma thesis position.

Personal attributes:

- excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills,

- advanced skills in English language,

- interested in working in a multi-cultural environment.
