Manage and develop treasury operations including but not limited to cash flow forecast, cash management and payment processing.

Direct cash management functions including setting up efficient cross-border lending! borrowing mechanism & treasury management of all offshore entities

Interacts closely with other NSB/Nokia functional units such as Accounting, Controlling, Tax, Nokia Corporate Finance and Shared Service Organization (SSO).


Main Responsibilities


Manage all cash management functions including cash concentration, wires, account funding & bank account management.

Manage daily cash balances and ensure adequate liquidity for companies to operate effectively.

Manage inter-company activities including intercompany trade settlements, lending, dividends and capital injections.

Review Region’s cash flow forecasts, related borrowing needs taking into consideration cash payments, working capital and investment needs and budget requirements.

Ensure the availability of required foreign exchange and local currency.2 RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT

• Manage banking and financial institution relationships.

• Negotiate bank and service fees.

• Manage debt obligations and lender relationships.

• Negotiate loan or overdraft terms with company bankers.


• Strictly enforce adherence of NSB Treasury policies.

• Ensure treasury activities are in compliance with treasury policies, accounting guidelines, governance policies and SOX/internal controls.


• Analyze the financial impact of NSB.

• Create solutions to new financial challenges by applying financial/treasury knowledge.

• Keep up to date with financial and industry developments.

• Prepare financial reports for management.

• Provide advice on financial matters impacting on the company in the region.

• Advise treasury management on the liquidity aspects of the region.

• Support investment decisions based on return on investment.

Desired Skills & Experience

• University Graduate with bachelor degree in Banking & Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent. MBA or equivalent would be an added advantage.

• Fluency in English language written & spoken skills.

• 5 or more years of treasury experience in an international corporate treasury; strong treasury background and strong local bank relationships.

• High integrity.

• Good team player and possess Leadership quality.

• Ability to work across functional levels & teams.

• Able to work independently and under pressure.

• Possess strategic business acumen, good internal control and risk protection mindset.

• Problem solver, good human relationships, flexible, patient and mature individual.

• Excellent analytical, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.

• Have good understanding of derivatives, hedging, investments, bank account

management, and international funds flows.

• Good computer skills.

• Knowledge of capital and currency markets, accounting, finance and tax.

• Well versed with the laws governing financial reporting, tax laws and corporate governance affairs.
