Tribe Quality Owner
Main responsibility area:
- Responsible for quality assurance and control at tribe (development unit) level
- Responsible for checking process adherence for product and driving left shift practices within the tribe
- Defines and tracks KPIs and goals
- Responsible for tribe KPI analysis and quality reviews
- Drive quality within a tribe
- Continuously looks opportunity to improve squads and tribe quality
- Supports high level of data analytics for process improvement
- Takes the lead in sharing best practices in quality
- Acts as a coach and mentor on quality topics and process adherence
- Drive quality culture and mindset in the tribe
- works in alignment with DU leader and DU Quality leader on quality targets for the tribe
- Drives release over release and year over year improvements and drive needed improvements in product and process
Job description:
- Provides tribe level quality KPI analyses and needed RCA
- Promotes best practice sharing across tribe and squads, contributes to best practice pool of knowledge
- Collaborates with all other tribes contributing to the same product for continuous improvement opportunity
Additional requirements:
- Several years (>5) of relevant experience and a proven track record
- Systematic and quality minded thinking
- Excellent networking, teaming, and communication skills
- Customer focused service mindset
- Able to work individually or as part of small teams to drive squad and tribe’s quality results with limited direction – self-starter required.
- Quality Management Experience preferred
- Green-belt or equivalent experience preferred
