About Fixed Networks
Our Fixed Networks (FN) business group provides an array of “gigabit to the home” solutions to deliver data access to our communication service provider (CSP) customers. This includes Fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) as well as 5G fixed wireless access (FWA), xDSL and cable upgrades. We build solutions that don’t stop at the home but also bring that gigabit experience into the home using our meshed Wi-Fi solution.

Position: xPON Hardware Advisory Engineer - Optic Module
Title: Hardware Advisory Engineer

Job Responsibilities & Competencies
Mainly be responsible for R&D work for various speeds, different packaging optical transceiver module. The activities cover the verification of optical module, the standard discussing with vendors, project (optical related) tracking.
- Support BOSA on board Hardware design.
- Optical modules testing/verification, and provide official report
- define the testing strategy for different module on different hardware platforms.
- Deep optics technique specification cooking with multiple chip vendors and optical industry.
Qualifications
- Education background: Bachelor
- Major in: Telecom/Electronic or related
- Working experience: More than 5 years and with Hardware test &development for xPON optical module and BOB
- Technical Requirements:
- Familiar with development and production of optical modules.
- Familiar with related standard for PON / optical modules.
- Familiar with high-speed circuit design, and test instrument.
- Background with qualification standard such as EMC/safety etc.
Experience of 2.5Gps and 10Gbps optical product, be familiar with 25Gps is preferred.
Familiar with BOB (Bosa On Board) design, validation and factory test process.

- Experience of using DCA, BERT etc, Eye-diagram measurement and analysis experience.
- Excellent in cross-team communication and problem resolve skills.
- Computer skill: Familiar with MS office, capable of EDA tools or related
- Language ability: CET-4 or above, fluent in reading/writing English.
